A Bit of an Introduction

I'm so excited to be putting the first post on this blog. I have had Hopes and Dreams for a little over a year and decided I wanted to do a bit of a new look. But when I went to do a new look, I didn't like how it was a turning out. So I decided to go ahead and make a new blog -- one that fit more with the theme of my blogging.

Aesthetics is the reflection of beauty. To live aesthetically means to be constantly looking for the beauty in everything. In every situation, in ever piece of art and especially the beauty in the hard times. My hope for this blog is to be able to post as often as possible on both lifestyle and art. I will write about writing novels, poems and short stories. I will give insight on character development and on plots and outlining. I will show you the art in writing.

I will also be blogging about how to see the beauty in every day life. How to look for the beautiful in the hard times. Hopefully this will kick off to a good start and that I can help you live aesthetically.

Jesus put us on this earth to be creative, to make art and to see the beauty in all of it. Of course I have learned a lot through pain and life and situations. I have found some amazing blogs over the years that have helped with my art and also with my lifestyle. So check out the "resources" tab at the top and please take a look at all those amazing people and what they have to say.

This is my way of showing my art, helping others see the light, and also helping me live out my dreams. I want to touch the ocean to create a ripple that will eventually create a tsunami. I'm simply a drop in the ocean, trying to make a difference for Christ. After all, none of us would be here without Him. He created beauty for us to seek.

So that's what I am and that's what this blog is about: seeking the beauty. Find the beauty in art and life. Make a change. Make a difference in storytelling, poems, music and how we live life.

Don't forget to get a cup of coffee and a donut on the way out. Coffee is always a good thing.
