Here, have a little tidbit. Might be worth something, might be worth nothing.
~
A blank piece of paper sits before you. Maybe it's a canvass or a computer document. Perhaps it's a blank SD card. The point is: it's blank. You can see it -- the vision -- you can almost touch it. It's right there, right before your eyes. But as you reach out to take it, to own it, you freeze. It's not beyond your reach. In fact, it's right in front of you. Inches away from your face and you can't grab it.
What's stopping you from grabbing the vision that belongs to you? What's holding you back from embracing it? What's keeping you from owning it?
It could be anything. A new design. A new story idea. A photo shoot opportunity. And there's that fear. There's the masks we wear to hide our true identity. There's the worry. The regrets. The world shouting at you that you're not worth it and that your art isn't good. And there's that small, still voice inside your head telling you to embrace it. To take up the vision and take it as far as you can. To put your heart into that calling. Being a creative and an artist comes without limitations. You have the whole world and your imagination. Don't let anything stop you from being who you are, or stop you from making beautiful things.
